This massive rock ledge overhang creates a natural shelter that has reportedly been used by Native Americans for eons, possibly even as far back as the Paleolithic period, 12,000 years ago. Hiking in alone, hearing only the sound of trees rustling and water dripping from above, it's easy to imagine those early people are still nearby and the place unchanged for thousands of years. |
